This unique browband is completely handcrafted. The chain aspect of this browband is made up of a singular strand of links across the brow with chain drops in strategic locations. At the top of the drops, there are thin metal filigree leaves and toward the bottom they alternate with either leaves or small black feathers. The feathered drops have been carefully placed to allow an ample amount of room for the horse's eyes.
The black leather bridle loops come from the finest Wickett and Craig English bridle leather. The chain is attached to the leather loops with the strongest hand stitching method which will last far longer than any machine's stitching.
While this is a functional browband and it can be used for riding, I would suggest it be used mainly for photo shoots. The long feathered drops will sway in the wind or move with a horse's trot and canter, which may cause them to blow close to the horse's eyes.
This browband is designed to fit a horse or warmblood sized bridle. The bridle loops are made to accommodate a crown piece up to 1 1/4" wide. The chain measures 12 1/2" with the total length being 16 1/2".
